The Northern Trust Open is among the most respected golf tournaments on the PGA TOUR. Held at historic Riviera Country Club, the Northern Trust Open presents golfers with one of the game’s most challenging courses. The Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce has had a longstanding connection to this prestigious event since its founding. The Junior Chamber put up the first $10,000 purse for the first LA Open and history was made. Our Charity Foundation is a beneficiary of Northern Trust Open’s charitable giving through their support of The First Tee of Los Angeles Program and TICKETS Fore CHARITY fundraising initiative. 2013 LA WATTS SUMMER GAMES: June 8-9 & 14-15, 2013, Los Angeles
Since 1968, the mission of the LA Watts Summer Games is to build bridges of understanding among high school youth through positive interaction, respect and achievement through spirited competition.. Celebrating the 45th anniversary, the 2013 LA Watts Summer Games will take place on June 8, 9, 14 and 15 in South Los Angeles; and is expected to attract approximately 145 schools, 3750 student-athletes, 500 coaches/officials, 450 volunteers and 1300 spectators.
