Registration for the 2013 LA Watts Summer Games is now open.
The LA Watts Summer Games is a program offered by the Los Angeles Junior Chamber Charity Foundation whose mission is to build bridges of understanding among achievement through spirited competition.   Sponsored generously by The First Tee of Los Angeles | Northern Trust Open, the LA Watts Summer Games is the nation’s largest high school athletic competition.  The 2013 Games will bring together more than 4,000 student athletes from Los Angeles and throughout Southern California and will take place June 8-9 & 14-15, 2013.  Modeled after the Summer Olympics, this signature event offers competition platforms for volleyball, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, softball, football, golf and much more. The Games also provides valuable resources and opportunities to Watts and its neighboring communities with resource exhibits, workshops and clinics and healthy eating/fitness initiatives.  Application deadline is May 22 so SIGN UP TODAY.
