Debussy Trio Music Foundation: Since 1989 the DTMF has maintained a national program of musical & educational endeavors. It supports presentation of chamber music concerts to diverse audiences; has major commitment to performance & commissioning of American Music; presents programs that include music of & for the many and varied cultures in our country. Hostelling International American Youth Hostels Los Angeles Council: HI-AYH is a nonprofit organization promoting world understanding since 1934. Recent boards have had significant RVLDP presence. This fall there will be 5-positions available due to term limits and other factors. Ideal candidates should have financial, legal, resource development of other professional experience, and have prior experience on a nonprofit Board of Directors. International Child Abuse Network: Yes ICAN is a premier provider of crisis intervention, information and referral services worldwide for those who have issues around child abuse. Services include an internet location, multi-lingual educational materials, and online facilitated support group for survivors of abuse; all of which help break the cycle of child abuse. The Wildwoods Foundation: "Building Community by Exploring Nature."

This emerging organization is a project of Community Partners. Their Full Circle program is a radical approach to character development, using outdoor experiences and team-building projects to help 5th-grade students apply the lessons of nature in their daily lives – in class, at home and in the community.
In the words of one participating teacher, this 8-week, academically integrated program “creates a classroom environment that is more conducive to learning.”
In an effort to “practice what we preach,” Wildwoods hopes to create revenue streams that are intertwined with our programmatic mission. Thus, we are in search of individuals who exhibit the willingness to take an active role in the challenge of creating true sustainability. Interest and experience in creating strategic partnerships preferred. Fund raising experience is always appreciated.

Westside Center for Independent Living: WCIL is local center; served the Westside of L.A. for 24 years. Mission is to facilitate independent living for people living with disabilities through nonresidential programs & services. More than 70% of WCIL's staff of 32 are people with disabilities. Half of board's membership people with disabilities. WCIL wishes to build a culturally diverse board with member experience in: PR/marketing, program development, fundraising, advocacy, personnel, & legal issues.
